Good Afternoon, If you are planning on playing a FALL SPORT at PWHS for the 2026-2027 school year, REGISTRATION is now OPEN!! We will be using a new system called Arbiter. PW TRACK & FIELD ATHLETES QUALIFIED FOR STATES

This past weekend our PW Track and Field program qualified 5 athletes in two events for the PIAA outdoor State Championship this weekend at Shippensburg University. The boys 4x800m (Josh Bucko, Will Waerig, Chris Gekonge, and Brett Westerfer) ran an amazing exciting race battling between positions 1 and 4 the entire race, ultimately finishing in 3rd overall in a new school record of 7:47.77 placing them 4th in the state and 35th in the US. They should find themselves in contention for a podium spot if not the state 4x800m title. Emma Simeral qualified in the open 800m. Running a gutsy race from the start running with the lead pack and pushing for a 6th place podium finish overall. Breaking her own school record in a time of 2:13.75 putting her #13 in Pa. Key positioning she can find herself in the mix for a top 8 podium finish. Both Emma and the Boys 4x800 will compete this weekend 5/23 & 5/24 for States at Shippensburg Uni

PWHS SOFTBALL TEAM CLINCHES SOL LEAGUE TITLE

Congrats to the PWHS Softball team who clinched the Suburban One League Liberty Division Championship yesterday on 5/12/26 by beating Upper Dublin in overtime. The game lasted 9 innings and the final score was 3-2. This is the 3rd consecutive year in a row that PWHS has won the championship. The PWHS Softball team ended their season with a record of 9-1. PIAA playoffs are set to begin on 5/18/26.

Congrats to the PW Boy's & Girl's Track & Field Teams and best of luck this weekend at Districts!! PW BOY'S T & F TEAMThe boys' squad kicked off the competition with strong performances in the field events. Cole Ashbridge earned a commendable third-place finish in the shot put. Brett Westerfer displayed exceptional versatility, not only anchoring the 4x800-meter relay to a district-qualifying time of 8:12.48, but also achieving an impressive second-place finish in the high jump with a six-foot clearance. In track events, Devin Spruill advanced to the finals of the 110-meter hurdles in second position, posting a district-standard time of 14.82 seconds.The 4x100-meter relay team secured third place with a district-qualifying time of 43.91 seconds. PW COLONIALS CLINCH SOL LIBERTY LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE

Congrats to the PW Colonials Baseball team who clinched the Suburban One Liberty League Championship title last night with their 8-7 win against Wissahickon High School.This is the first time since 2021 the Colonials have won the title. The Colonials are currently sitting in 8th place going into the PIAA D1 6A Baseball Playoffs which are set to begin on 5/18/26.

PWHS'S 4x 800 T& F RELAY TEAM MAKES HISTORY AT PENN RELAYS THIS WEEKEND

Congrats to our PW boys 4x800m team of Seniors Josh Bucko, Chris Gekonge, Will Waerig, and Brett Westerfer for competing at the prestigious Penn Relays 4/24-25, breaking their previous school record in an astounding time of 7:51.5 and for the first time in school history being one of twelve teams to qualify for the Championship of America finals. Showing once again that they are not just one of the top 4x800 relays in the state, but on the national and now international level beating multiple international teams.
