PWHS SWIM TEAM HAS 11 SWIMMERS ADVANCE TO STATES
The PWHS Swim Team had a great weekend in York PA competing in Districts which took place on 02/27/26. They had 11 swimmers qualifiy for the PIAA State Championship Meet in 8 different events. The PIAA State Championship Meet will take place at Kinney Matatorium at Bucknell University on 03/11/26-3/12/26. The Boy's will be sending 6 swimmers to States and qualified for 5 different events:200 Freestyle Relay- finished in 10th securing a spot at StatesRyan Mondoro, Erik Babka, Owen Coyle, and Austin Alderfer 400 Freestyle Relay- finished in 14th place securing a spot in StatesRyan Mondoro, Erik Babka, Gavin Kriebel, John Carr Both relays finished with a fast enough time to send them to States Individual- Boy's Event200 Freestyle- Eric Babka finished in 5th palce500 Yard Freestyle- Eric Babka finished in 9th place200 Freestyle-Ryan Mondoro finished in 8th place100 Butterfly- Ryan Mondoro finsihed in 10th placeBoth Erik and Ryan qualified for the

4x800 Boy's Track Relay Team Wins 2nd in the State Championships
Congrats to our Boy's Track 4x800 team for taking second at the Indoor Track& Field State Championships!!The boy's competed at the Pennsylvania Track and Field Indoor State Championships at Penn State University this past weekend and crushed it. Not only did they place 2nd in the State but they set a school record with a time of 7:53.23. They are currently ranked15th in the US!They are looking to continue their strong performance at the New Balance Indoor Nationals in Boston which take place 3/11/26-3/15/26.On the girls’ side, Junior Captain Emma Simeral will also advance to the New Balance Indoor Nationals. Her PR of 2:14.46 places her 20th in the Class of 2027.

PWHS has 4 divers who qualified for the State Diving Championship after competing in the District 1 Diving Championship on 2/21/26. States will be held at Bucknell on 3/11-3/14. Best of Luck!! PWHS Had 4 Wrestlers Qualify for the 2026 Southeast Regional Tournament
Congrats to the PW Wrestling team who had four wrestlers Qualify for Regionals! PWHS Wrestlers competed on Saturday 2/21 at the District 1 3A Southeast Tournament which took place at Perkiomen High School. Four wrestlers placed and will advance to Regionals. 12th grader Eric Catenacci placed in 3rd11th grader Nick Bussell placed in 4th9th grader Evan Burns placed in 5th11th grader Zach Murray placed in 6th 2026 Southeast Regional Wrestling Tournament will take place the weekend of 2/27-2/28 at Oxford Area High School.

PWHS DIVER AUSTIN ALDERFER MAKES HISTORY BY WINNING THE DISTRICT 1 DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS
On Thursday 2/19/26 the PWHS Boys competed in the District 1 Diving Championships at North Penn High School. For, the first time in history, a PWHS boy diver took home the District 1 Championship Title and that diver was 11th grader Austin Alderfer. Not only did he win the title but he also qualified for States. Diver Ethan Scully who is in 10th grade finished 8th in the meet and qualified for States as well. States will take place on 3/11/26 at Bucknell University. Other drivers included Dominic Benvenuti who finished 16th and Morgan Hulitt who finshed 13th. Congrats to all our divers for the hard work and commitment to the sport!!

Emma Simeral Clinches 3rd at the Girl's Indoor T & F Meet of Champions
Congrats to Emma Simeral who competed at the Indoor Track and Field Meet of Champions this past weekend at the University of Pennsylvania's Ott Center and did not disappoint. The Division I–bound junior captain ran a season-best time of 2:17.11 in the 800m, placing third overall. This is an an amazing accomplishment. Emma is looking to beat her time this weekend in hopes to solidifying a spot at the Pennsylvania Indoor Track & Field State Championships at the end of the month.

Dominant Performances Highlight Opening of Invitational Weekend at Garden State Invitational
The track and field program opened invitational weekend in impressive fashion at the Garden State Invitational hosted at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex, delivering multiple personal records, national qualifications, and statement victories against elite competition. Leading the charge was freshman Cameron Morgan, who ran a breakthrough time of 7.03 in the 55-meter dash, earning qualification for Nike Nationals. Morgan’s performance signals a strong future for the sprint program and showcases the development of the team’s underclassmen. The 4x200-meter relay team of senior Devin Spruill, Roman Horning, and junior Kylim Mintz-Rivera also secured Nike Nationals qualification, demonstrating depth, speed, and strong relay chemistry on a major stage. PWHS BOCCE TEAM WINS BACK TO BACK TITLES
Congrats to PWHS Unified Bocce team for clinching the title as the 2025-2026 Montgomery County Bocce League Champions!!This is back- to-back titles for this team.The event took place yesterday on 2/10/26 here at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. The PWHS Bocce team went into the event with a bi for the first round since they ended the season in 1st place.They will now advance to compete at Regionals which will take place on 3/24/26 at Glenn Mills.

PW Dominates SOL Liberty Diving Championships
Congrats to the PWHS Divers who dominated at the Suburban One Diving Championships which took place yesterdayon 2/10/26 at Upper Dublin HS Austin Alderfer who is a junior won the gold for the Boy's and set a NEW SCHOOL RECORD!Riley Kiernan who is a senior won the gold for the Girl's and also set a NEW SCHOOL RECORD!In addition, to winning 2 golds, Annabel Ferhat (11th) and Morgan Hulitt (11th) both took 3rd place.For the girl's, Tegan Stanley (10th) placed in 4th and Pyper Zebley (9th) placed in 6thFor the boy's, Ethan Scully placed in 5th (10th grade), Dominic Benvenuti (11th grade) placed in 6th and Paxon Zebley (10th grade) placed in 8th.

Claire Carrington takes 3RD place at the SOL Championships for Girl's Wrestling
Congrats to Claire Carrington who competed yesterday in the Girl's Wrestling SOL Championships and placed in 3RD!! The meet took place yesterday evening at Quakertown HS. For the first time ever PWHS sent 3 girl wrestlers to this meet to compete for the title of SOL Champion- Claire Carrington, Lia Hill and McKayla Holiday. We are proud of all the girl's for their hard work and dedication this season. Districts will take place this Saturday on 2/14/26 fro the girl's at William Tennent HS!

Mani Sajid Makes History Breaking the PWHS School Record
Congrats to senior Mani Sajid for making history last night by breaking the PWHS school record for All-Time Leading Scorer on the Boy's Basketball team.Last night (1/28/26) the Boy's Basketball team played Hatboro Horsham and before the second quarter was over Mani scored his 1642 career point, breaking the record with a dunk. Mani was able to achieve this milestone in just 3 years. Thomas Young held the record of 1641 career points (2003-2005) for the past two decades.
